The Female Founders Map campaign was launched to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the GIG7 Competence Center FeMale Business and aims to increase the visibility of female founders in the region. We love the campaign because we believe the visibility of female founders and #femaleempowerment matter.
The GIG7 is one of three start-up centres in Germany. We are fortunate enough to reside in two of the three cities that support the active promotion and networking of female founders and entrepreneurs through start-up centres.

We came up with our studio name “The Geekettez GbR” during a very serious strategy meeting in a dusty food truck parking lot in Austin, TX after a long day at SXSW in 2011. Our name has since stood for the core values of our studio: inclusive, polite and humane design. We would be happy to send you some of our case studies upon request.
