Our studio

Established in 2011, The Geekettez GbR is a research and experience design studio founded on the conviction that good and sustainable design makes people’s lives easier and better. The Co-Founders, Stefanie Kegel and Jennifer Moss started in a joint office in Mannheim before Stefanie moved to Berlin. We have since worked as a remote team for a worldwide client base.
With our background in psychology and entrepreneurship, our competencies lie in user experience design, service design, user research and design strategy. We have over a decade of experience working with companies and organizations such as mozilla, Schindler Holding Ltd., and taz die tageszeitung (one of Germany’s top seven newspapers).

Our process

Our studio is a one-stop shop for Experience Design. We work with our partners and clients from the first analysis, research and strategy to interaction design, conception and UI design. Together we find tailor-made solutions and develop products and services that are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Before we present possible design solutions, our first step is always to analyze any problems or gaps in the user experience, allowing us to identify less obvious issues. This process enables our clients to establish a service- and user-centric way of thinking and find their potential and competitive advantage. It also supports them in the development of hands-on strategies.
Ultimately, our goal is always to enable our clients to adopt a user-centric way of thinking and working.

Our values

As designers, we must constantly question the existing status quo as our job actively helps shape our environment and community. Therefore, our work is based on principles: empowerment, participation and inclusion, cooperation, sustainability and ethical responsibility.
