“Weave”, the leading magazine for digital design in Germany, interviewed us for the December/January 2012 issue on the theme of “flutteringly persistent / in German: “Flatterhaft beständig” – i. e our self-employment as UX designers. In the interview, we were able to speak about our experiences on this topic and share tips for getting started in self-employment.
We also talked about all the challenges that self-employed people often encounter, and gave some tips based on our experiences on how to overcome them.
The interview was a nice opportunity to share our thoughts and experiences with a larger audience and hopefully help other UX/design freelancers and self-employed people be successful in their careers. We look forward to having more opportunities to contribute to this important topic in the future.
