The Geekettez 2014 retrospective

The beginning of the new year is always a good reason to take a look at the past year, the ups and downs, our objectives and results and what we learned and accomplished. February is still considered the beginning of new year right? We think so and thought we’d take a few minutes to write up what happened for The Geekettez in 2014:

Anything, anytime, anywhere?

Diese Woche waren wir auf dem Webmontag in Mannheim eingeladen, wo wir eine kurze Einführung in das sehr spannende Thema ‘ambient Technology’ , ‘smart Devices’ oder in unserem Falle vereinfacht gesagt das ‘Internet der Dinge’ (Internet of Things, kurz: IoT) gaben. Den Vortrag hatten wir etwas abgespeckter schon auf dem Usability Kongress 2013 in Frankfurt gehalten.

We are very honored that we are invited to speak at the “Usability Kongress“, which will be happening on October 10 & 11 in Frankfurt, Germany. In about two weeks time we will get to speak at an event that is jam-packed with interesting workshops and speeches on usability and user experience. Check out the amazing “line-up”.

Back in November we were invited to speak at World Usability Day in Mannheim, which we were very happy to do. We decided to present a concept, which we have worked on and use when new clients approach us with a project that is “not quite ready” when it comes to the brief.

We love to write an speak about UX topics.

We have had many nation wide speaker appearances on many different topics. We have spoken at TEDx, UIG spring conference, Usability Congress, World Usability Day, webmondays and the up.front web design community in Berlin.
